Forum member “parapremiere” made this fantastic six-minute clip that encompasses all the Heroes episodes, including all the major plot points. I think it’s pretty cool myself. Check it out.

For this anti-gravity experiment we will need one cat (preferably cute) and one piece of toast buttered on one side only. Now this experiment relies on two constants, one being a cat in motion will always land on its feet. And the other being when buttered toast travels from point X to point Y, it will always land butter side down.

A recent project of mine required me to do a quick review of the accessibility level of a site. Nothing serious, just to show what was possible to test and where the site scored right now. I managed to assemble a small list of tools that I believe did a rather good job. This article is a list of those tools, and some tips on how to use them.

You’d be forgiven for not recognizing the term “testability,” despite its central importance to the W3C’s new Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). There’s little mention of testability in WCAG 2.0 documents—and given the verbosity of the guidelines, the absence of information about testability seems almost purposeful. Indeed, testability is one of WCAG 2.0’s big secrets: while most of the public complaints about WCAG 2.0 have been about technology neutrality, jargon, and the lack of attention to people with cognitive disabilities, the underlying cause behind these issues—testability—has taken a back seat.

Google Apps added the option to migrate the messages from your existing email accounts if you use the business or the educational edition. “Administrators use a self-service wizard to easily and securely transfer existing email data from an IMAP server over to users’ Gmail accounts on Google Apps. Gmail will put messages into conversation threads, display the original sender, recipient, and date of messages, and convert existing mail folders into labels. (…) This tool currently supports email servers with an IMAP interface.”
