Google Video Meets YouTube

About 3 months ago Google bought YouTube for a couple of millions, and yesterday it seems they were showing off their cards with the first step in the right direction on how to make the giant video website - YouTube - work in coordination with the giant search engine - Google.

WHATWG e o HTML 5

Em 2004, depois de um workshop do W3C, Apple, Mozilla e Opera estavam se tornando cada vez mais preocupadas a respeito da direção do XHTML no W3C, perda de interesse no HTML e aparente indiferença para com as necessidades dos autores do mundo real. Então, em resposta, essas organizações ajustaram-se com a missão de enfrentar essas preocupações e o Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group nasceu.

Nuestra cuarta y última tirada: Coge unos hilos de seda, o algún soporte que no se vea (tal vez un poco de Photoshop…), gira la foto 90 o 180 grados y… adiós gravedad. Eso hace Philippe Ramette. Es un poco complejo, pero el resultado es asombroso.

SoundManager 2: Javascript Sound For The Web

Sometimes, necessity is the mother of invention. Or in this case, procrastination. I’ve been working on a DJ/production/music-related site (still not live at time of writing despite the domain being a year old,) and rather than launch a somewhat-finished design, figured I should have an inline MP3 player to allow people to browse the site while listening to mixes and other original content. This is classic web project procrastination at work: “Just one more cool feature, and then I’ll put it live..”
